Without wanting to sound too cliché, we’re proud of the fact that MessageMedia is a responsible corporate citizen. Many member of our team feel strongly about lending a hand, and as a company we’re involved in several programs designed to generate positive outcomes for the community and the environment we operate in.

At MessageMedia, we don’t want to limit ourselves to simply being a business that provides a service, we hope to be more than a place where our team just clocks on and clocks off.

Carbon neutrality

MessageMedia is a clean, green SMS machine! We are officially Carbon Neutral, the Easy Being Green foundation has calculated our carbon emissions, and we have paid them a sum to plant the trees required to neutralize our carbon footprint.

Discounted rates for charities

MessageMedia knows that charities and Not-For-Profit organizations provide a great service, and accordingly, we provide heavy discounts for them.

To qualify for a charity discount, you must be one of the following:

• A registered non-profit association
• A registered charity
• An organization (or event) that passes on all profits directly to a charity or NFP

NB – regrettably, MessageMedia cannot accept every submission. We will take on as many charity proposals as we can, but unfortunately cannot guarantee every submission will be successful.

Oxfam

Oxfam is a not-for-profit aid organization with a global reach. MessageMedia has chosen to give to deserving causes such as Oxfam on behalf of our clients at Christmas, rather than buy our clients gifts.

We base the decision on a desire to make a difference for people who really need the help, and our donation to Oxfam helps fund their life-changing work around the world.

The Fitzroy Community School

Education is the best way to lift someone’s standard of living. Providing education is a long-term passion for our CEO, and therefore, MessageMedia provides on-going funding for the Fitzroy Community School. We feel their education model is extremely compelling, it’s a great way, as the school’s principal says, “to produce happy, capable and caring adults – people the world is the better for having.”
